Just because covid happened, and now the Russian invasion of Ukraine, does not mean that America has forgotten about the stolen 2020 election.
New peer-reviewed research has verified that in six key states, Joe Biden received 255,000 “excess votes,” meaning fraudulent votes.
A Rasmussen Reports survey conducted earlier this month found that by a margin of 52 percent to 40 percent, most voters believe that “cheating affected the outcome of the 2020 U.S. presidential election.” And there is more proof now to back that.
Amazingly, it is not just Republicans who believe this, either. The survey found that 34 percent of Democrats, as well as 38 percent of those who “somewhat” support Biden, now agree that fraud was used to rig the results. “A broad range of Americans think this: men, women, all age groups, whites, those who are neither white nor black, Republicans, those who are neither Republicans nor Democrats, all job categories, all income groups except those making over $200,000 per year, and all education groups except those who attended graduate school,” writes John R. Lott Jr. for Real Clear Politics.
As for the peer-reviewed research confirming fraud, that was published in the economics journal Public Choice. It found that around 255,000 excess votes – and possibly even as many as 368,000 excess votes – were cast for Biden in swing states where Donald Trump alleged fraud had taken place.
“Biden only carried these states – Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin – by a total of 313,253 votes,” Lott Jr. adds. “Excluding Michigan, [where] the gap was 159,065.”
While the study’s findings are not necessarily aimed at unseating Biden, the fake “winner,” and replacing him with Trump, the true winner, they do highlight the fact that America’s election system is broken.
Republicans were largely unable to prove, at least to the degree that the courts expected, that Biden et al. had stolen the election. However, there were an incredible number of anomalies, as you may recall, that can really only be explained by fraud.
“Courts have rejected challenges to the 2020 presidential vote, generally citing the lack of evidence that any alleged fraud would have altered the outcome in a particular state,” Lott Jr. adds.
“The Republican plaintiffs argued that since their observers couldn’t watch the vote counts or were prevented from seeing other evidence, they couldn’t provide such proof without investigations backed by subpoena power. Still, while some judges have agreed that irregularities occurred in 2020, they weren’t willing to grant discovery in the absence of evidence that fraud could reverse the election results. Republicans thus faced a Catch-22 situation.”
Recounts were similarly unsuccessful at proving that fraud had taken place, and neither were signature verification checks. There are simply too many loopholes and problems with the current system that nothing short of a complete overhaul has even the possibility of fixing.
“Vote fraud erodes trust in elections, and makes people less motivated to vote,” Lott Jr. correctly states in conclusion.
“Compared to Europe and other developed countries, America is unique in its lax approach to vote fraud. When all demographic and political groups in the U.S. support voter photo IDs and even 46% of Democrats believe that mail-in voting leads to cheating, ignoring Americans’ concerns won’t make the problem go away.”
As a little background, Lott Jr. is the president of the Crime Prevention Research Center. Up until January 2021, he was the senior adviser for research and statistics at the U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Office of Legal Policy where he dealt specifically with issues pertaining to voter fraud.
